About
Couple Therapy Singapore
At Belief, we provide Couple Therapy in Singapore in a safe, supportive, and professional setting. We help couples who may feel distant, stuck in repeated conflict, or shaken by hurt and betrayal to better understand what is happening in the relationship and move toward greater clarity, connection, and repair.
Joselyn Loh, our Clinical Director, has over twenty years of experience helping couples and families. She has supported couples through different stages of relationship life, from premarital preparation and early marriage transitions to long-term struggles and the impact of infidelity. She is also known for helping couples rebuild their marriages after the pain of extramarital affairs.
When a relationship feels painful, distant, or shaken by betrayal, many couples feel confused, mistrustful, or unsure if repair is possible. Yet with the right support, couples can move toward healing, growth, renewed strength, and a healthier way of relating.
Support for Marital Struggles, Betrayal, and Infidelity
For couples facing the pain of infidelity and betrayal, our couple therapy services provide focused support for the emotional pain and relational trauma that often follow.
After betrayal, couples often feel overwhelmed by hurt, anger, fear, and uncertainty about what comes next. We understand that trust takes time to rebuild.
Our couple therapist helps couples work through anger, grief, guilt, and broken trust, while looking at the issues that may have contributed to the rupture. Where there is readiness to repair, we support couples in rebuilding trust through honesty, accountability, and steady effort.
Intensive sessions are available for couples in acute distress.
Support for Strengthening Couple Relationships
When couples face ongoing conflict, growing distance, or communication problems, the relationship can start to feel strained and hard to manage.
Our cCouple Therapist helps couples build stronger and more fulfilling relationships through evidence-based therapeutic practices. We help couples understand what is happening, communicate better, feel closer, and work through conflict in healthier ways.
Our Approach to Couple Therapy
Integrative Approach
Our couple therapy services draw from different evidence-based approaches based on what each couple needs. These may include the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Systemic Therapy.
Relationship Trauma
Where needed, we also use a trauma-informed approach, especially when one or both partners have been deeply affected by betrayal, emotional hurt, or painful experiences in the relationship. This can help create a safer space for fear, mistrust, pain, and disconnection to be worked through with care.
PREPARE/ENRICH Relationship Assessment
We also offer the PREPARE/ENRICH Relationship Assessment. This guided tool helps couples understand their relationship strengths and growth areas, and learn skills to resolve differences. It gives the couple a clearer focus and structure for therapy.
At Belief Psychotherapy & Training, we aim to support couples in understanding what is happening in their relationship, working through conflict in healthier ways, and rebuilding connection at a pace that feels thoughtful and manageable.
